i always get asked why i workout so much...

well, for one...why not take care of the only body you have?

in the last two years, i've changed my eating habits and workout routine tremendously.


its all about what works for you.



whether its:

running, swimming, golf, tennis, biking, martial arts, zumba, walking your dog, washing your car
or dancing around your bedroom.  just do somethin'...as long as your being active.
i've heard sex is also a form of exercise...which i'd have to agree...okay, next topic...lol


the benefits of exercise are straight up bananas...

improved digestion, enhance quality of sleep, improves shape, tones and firms muscles,
improves endurance, improves posture, enriches sexuality, improves athletic performance,
decreases fat tissue, burns extra calories...i could go on and on...


who doesn't want to look attractive?
and be healthy??

 i mean seriously, when i look in the mirror, i say to myself..."you are one sexy b*tch"...totally kidding! seriously, staying active has sooooo many benefits and being proud of your body is a plus. i'm not gonna lie its a confidence boost when i see a guy staring at my strong muscular legs...i've work hard for them!

workout with friends, your partner or go solo and use your iPOD.

 health is something we all take for granted way too much. taking care of your health is so important.

 
my running group starts training again on Thursday! yay!

i'm soooooooooooooo excited!!

hopefully, i'll sweat off the extra weight i'm trying to loose in this heat :)

That is NOT your workout partner!!!????!!!! IS IT!?!? WTH. If it is...I am jealous. And that is not fat!!! It's your fat cells crying...so awesome. What a great way to look at it!?! Love it. Go girl....

lets golf together...its a great workout! then we can go sip cocktails and eat greasy food at the 19th hole lol

no but really...working out is awesome..granted I get so annoyed on my way to the gym but after that I feel so GREAT! refreshed! yummy from head to toe!

there were so many "run like you stole something" signs at the half...i LOVED it! this post is amazing....is that really your trainer? cause DANG girl...you need to work on that if it is!

I LOVE this!! I've needed the extra motivation to get more into my workouts and this was it!! I love all the pictures you found! And everything is so so SO true!! (I think working out also boosts the sex drive... OH! Did I just say that?! ;))

Love this post! Wish I read it before I went to the gym. I swear it was sooo hard to get there today for some reason. But I got there and that's what counts!!

first, i would jump on that man in a second, hahah. second, i love working out with my ipod. i prefer working out with friends if we are taking a class, but i usually work out solo - i know, i'm weird that way. i can't run, so i hate that fact. yoga bores that shit out of me, so i do ellipticals or hike (12 miles or so). i started to take working out more seriously once my dad's health failed and the doctor's said that exercise could have saved his health. unfortunately, when it comes to health, my dad's family has the bad genes - heart problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, etc - you name it, so i will forever be working out because i want to live longer, not necessarily because i'm on a weight loss program. sadly, i also have some injuries (left foot & tail bone) that hasn't exactly made me move the way i used to be, nothing serious, but i feel discomfort from time to time - so i have to alternate cardio with weight lifting. love this post! :) sorry, comment was soo long!
